Overview:
Sometimes getting started is easier when someone else is simply there. They don’t need to help. They don’t even need to be working on the same thing. Their presence can be enough to help you stay connected to what you intended to do.

That’s body doubling.

Purpose:
The Body Double Sheet helps you and your body double decide what you’re working on, how long you’re working for and what “done” looks like before you begin. Less wandering. Less “wait, what was I doing?” More gentle accountability.

How to Use:

• Print a few copies or use on your tablet
• Find your body double. In person or virtual both work.
• Each of you writes down what you want to accomplish.
• Decide how long you’re going to work.
• Get started and let the other person’s presence help anchor you.
• Check in when the time is up and celebrate what actually got done.
